Accepting Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior is not hard to do.
First, you need to recognize that you are a sinner. (It's not just you. We all are.)
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." -- Romans 3:23
The fate of all unrepentant sinners is death and hell.
"For the wages of sin is death," -- Romans 6:23a
You can't be good enough to earn your way to heaven. Only God can save you.
"As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one." -- Romans 3:10
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." -- Ephesians 2:8,9
"...they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened." -- Romans 1:21
The only way to be saved is to ask Jesus to be your savior.
"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." -- John 14:6
"That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life."
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." -- John 3:15,16
That's all it takes! Confess your sins to Him. Ask forgiveness.
Ask Him to be your Savior.
"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." -- 1 John 1:9
Christ has the power to make life what it should be.
"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." -- 2 Corinthians 5:17
